Tiivistelmä
This study shows how changes in educational attainment have contributed to changes in labour force participation in the population aged 55-74 in 26 European countries between 2000 and 2019. While in most countries rising levels of education are positively associated with growth in labour force participation, educational inequalities in labour force participation increased in some countries as well, particularly among women.
