Tiivistelmä
We analysed the co-occurence of musculoskeletal pain and depressive symptoms first
in the entire Finnish population 30 years of age or older and then more closely among
working people 30–64 years of age. In this study, musculoskeletal pain refers to pain,
ache or motion-related soreness that occurred during the past month in the back, neck,
shoulder, elbow, wrist, fi ngers, hip, knee, ankle or foot. Depressive symptoms cover
mild, moderate and severe symptoms.
